Chefs For Foodies

THE BRIEF

Chefs For Foodies and KitchenAid work have been working together with celebrity chefs to develop luxury meal kits. They needed mouth-watering food and portrait photography to launch the 2022 Christmas meal boxes.
Working alongside a professional videographer, I photographed The Ultimate Turkey Christmas Recipe Box as well as action shots of Steve Wallis, Masterchef winner, judge and food consultant cooking the dishes that he also created.

THE SOLUTION

The photo shoot required two separate set-ups with studio flash, one that captured images of Steve demonstrating the various steps of the Christmas dishes. The other set was created in the next room, where I styled and photographed the finished dishes using studio lights, a custom designed backdrop and Christmas props.

It was almost two shoots in one, where I would move from one set to another all day. Needless to say I was exhausted but very happy with the results. It was a great collaboration between Steve, the Chefs for Foodies Team, the sponsors and the film crew.

THE CLIENT

Kitchen Aid and Chefs for Foodies have been creating many chef-curated recipe kits that use only the highest quality ingredients. They collaborate with some of the UK’s best chefs.

They work with Michelin Star chefs including Rohit Ghai and Daniel Galmiche, as well as MasterChefs like Steven Wallis, Alex Webb, Liam Rogers and Sofia Gallo.
