THE BRIEF
The Pelagonia is a Macedonian meze and antipasti brand distributed by Waitrose and Sainsbury’s in the UK. Their website going through a redesign and needed some new content including product photos, new food images including recipes to use on social media. The products have been recommended by Yotam Ottolenghi and Jamie Oliver Magazine.
THE SOLUTION
Because Pelagonia had worked with various different food before, the project required some time to research the brand and the FMCG market. In addition, a creative brief and a detailed shot list allowed us to spend a full day shooting eye catching food photos. Moreover, we used both artificial lighting and natural lighting to get a natural commercial look. For the more complicated food shots, a food stylist who was also a recipe developer styled the food to create high quality commercial food photos.

Pelagonia is an award-winning Macedonian food product range based on traditional recipes. The meze, antipasto and jam products are very well known in the world of food and made from quality fruit and vegetables.
