Boot Buddy

THE BRIEF

Boot Buddy is a London-based lifestyle and shoe care brand and Dragon’s Den winner. They were launching the new Boot Buddy 3.0, an innovative new shoe cleaning product and needed high quality product photography, lifestyle photography as well as videography to use across all their marketing platforms to announce the long awaited launch.

Originally a grass-roots brand associated with cleaning football boots, Boot Buddy was ready for a change in direction and wanted to reach a larger customer audience with the new product launch. They required advertising imagery and high-quality product photography to appeal to a wider audience.

THE SOLUTION

The project required three separate photoshoots. We spent a day shooting lifestyle imagery with models in a variety of lifestyle locations around London. Another day was spent in the studio filming a number of videos which included explainer videos, motion graphics and promotional videos for online and social media use. Video editing, subtitles and music was also added to the videos.

The final part of the project was to shoot the ecommerce product photos. A very premium, modern and striking look was achieved by using artificial studio lights and monotone backgrounds. We shot a mix of white background pack shots and creative product shots with creative compositions.

We also edited the videos and still together to create reels, promo videos and tutorial videos for Instagram, you-tube and vimeo.

THE CLIENT

Boot Buddy is a foot care brand offering innovative shoe cleaning solutions. Boot Buddy’s founder was the youngest entrepreneur to get backing on Dragon’s Den at age 15. He successfully secured backing from 3 of the Dragos: Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden & Touker Suleyman.
